Couple quick pics of mine.... Still stock engine, changed the windshield to a shorty off of a Rush, added a tether, a skinz bag and polaris underseat bag.
Suspension I went with WE Needle Piggybacks on the front because they work great and easy to adjust with the turn of a nob, and with the...
hahaha, as if dyno numbers mean anything when ya have to "correct" to make it right. All depends what aftermarket company is running the machine, and ya might see a common occuanrce that if the dyno runner builds parts for that sled it will have less than the others.... hence dyno-tech making...
I have heard from some of the peeps that just got back from West Yellowstone that Silber has the Pro dialed in and run AWESOME, even better than his dragon setups (could be a lot to do with the sled and how it takes boost too). I have been watching for Silber to post some updates himself, will...
The new chassis gets on top of the snow MUCH better than the previous IQ model where the shock laydown and short limiters were needed.
I have found that the new sled is balanced right out of the box with the limiter straps at the stock setting of all the way out, when I messed with mine I ended...
Best option is to turn the shocks to their softest setting, like he said and let the limiter strap out.
A lot of guys have relocated the front mounting hole to where the RMK has theirs, might be a small divet in the tunnel to mark this, but I have heard great results after doing this.
Biggest...
SLP pipe setup is not out yet, my guess would be around mid-Jan., very few aftermarket companies got their hands on production sleds ahead of time as they were being "tweeked" right up to the roll off the line date.
Clutch kits are not that hard to do, if you have had your clutches appart for...
Would love to see 180hp out of the etec, but would rather see a better clutch setup on them to get the power to the ground, I was suprised how the etec compared to the 2011 M and the 2011 pro over the weekend, for being leader in power it wasn't exactly impressive. Mind you all stock as stock...
Better air flow over the clutches/Team secondary would be nice, would like to see more of the power get to the ground, right now our etec should be better from factory.
Better snow evacuation on the boards, currently sucks, also instead of tapered running boards would be nice if they stayed...
We bought an etec with the extended warranty.
Even if it is based off the ptek motor, there are a LOT of differences, and after the elctrical issues the 600's saw early on, the 3 year warranty on our 800 was a no brainer.
First year sled, ya most the rest of the chassis is finally figured...
All of their packs are on this page: Skinz Protective Gear
I am getting the PTP350-BK for Christmas from the wife, don't plan to carry fuel as this one is going to be a LOT more fuel efficient than my 600 carb.
2007 600 rmk was still carb! :D Unless you got the switchback or a lake racer then you had the EFI version.
For that price range, I would shy away from the 05-06 range IQ sleds, lots of changes in chassis design in the 07 year which made them leaps and bounds ahead of the previous years as far...
Two best options are either the Holtz kit or the Zbroz kit, personally I would go with the zbroz if I needed to get a pair, They are cheaper I believe for all 4 that it is for one side of OEM and tough as hell.
Holtz makes a nice product too don't get me wrong, just seen a serious beating on...
I won't buy a can for this sled until the manufacturer will provide a flow test of both the stock can and the product they are selling. The stock one is very light to start with, but I would not like to give up real hp for ear hp.
I am waiting for SLP to come out with their product to compare.
That program was not found by Symantec which really suprised me.
Gave the HDD problem described above, a FLV media player, and some other anoying BEBO search thing.
Good thing I had malware last week here at work that was possibly worse, so I had it all on my desktop ready to go.
Malaware...
First tank for break in since the dealer filled it, but hopefully not after that.
Ethanol is not consistant for what they put in it, sometimes you might have 5% and the next time you might have 15%, don't believe me get your own field tester ike we have at work, you would be suprised what they...
