Hi all,
So the summer is rolling around and time for me to bring the XRS back to life. Currently what i have is a 07 800R with a cracked case but everything else seems to be ok, i also have no Fawking idea what bolts are from where or what or who or why cause Bow Cycle South decided to rip it...
I am a firm believer in JC Customs
Don't forget to check all the REV vents, there are different shapes and stuff in the different design pages
Have these all over the XRS and the XP, exceptional build quality and available in different colors! no snow under the hood and no ripped screen nor...
Used to have that on my ramp when i had an open deck, but can't see sheeting the floor on an enclosed trailer with it or a truck box.
Biggest advantage to these is they won't cause damage to anything, there really smooth and the sled will slide with minimal effort...
Does no one use these ? iv...

Where about's can i find some of those nifty ski skins that you slip under your skis and secure with velcro so that your runners won't damage the flooring of an enclosed trailer or maybe even a truck box? There pretty slick and take about 2 seconds to slide off and on, saves the edges of our...
08 GM 40k front and rear bumpers were surface rusting like that all the time, if i polished them now and again it would rub out but would always come back. New bumpers do to my chains incident so see how these do...
Quality fawkin GM, might buy a ford next :(
Rode both and this is how i feel
Get on the Nytro and climb hills, do jumps *up hill*, take stupid crazy vertical lines that would make most people ch!t their pants
Get off Nytro (cause now yer tired and don't wanna ride it anywhere else or you did everything that was extremely challenging...
The spacer allows your secondary clutch to float back and forth on the splines to keep itself aligned with the primary clutch weather it's at low speed or high torque situations (the motor will twist under high load and what may have been perfectly alignment without any load on the clutches is...
Not to mention the crazy wind resistance you'd get with that third sled up there, wow... don't go under low bridges !!!
Sled Deck and 2 Place open deck is your best bet, most of the time u can drive onto the trailer then onto the truck reducing your ramp angle which makes loading a bit easier...
Still have it, unfortunately it has been a garage sled for the past full year due to blown motor and money issues. This summer will be the full resurrection and will be ready to rip 2011 - 2012 season, cant' wait. Currently riding a 08 163 XP and liking it but missing my Rev EXTREMELY, i fight...
Cyberlink is good, it's been so long im trying to remember which one i use.. hahaha well maybe it's power director, the picture on the box looks more like the one i got *shrug*... reading some review sites are always good too.
I use Ulead movie maker, theres a new one out than i have
Sample:
It's fairly easy to use, takes getting used to like any movie maker but have had good success with it...
Multimedia Software Developer: Ulead Systems
Have yet o make any for this year but getting buncha footage together :D...
Hands down best mod for the rev, have ducks alum on and never had issues with belts... Was really sad when they went to the QRS secondary on the rev and costs 800 bucks to float it...
Make sure to keep ur shaft nice n lubed up with anti-seize you don't want any excessive wear or heat buildup...
Sounds like a seize... she was hotter than a firecracker by the sounds of it. Melting the bearings sounds really possible too as i haven't heard of that before. Either way, tear it apart before doing more damage.. you don't want to lose that core charge for the jugs or the case if you do major...
Does it sound like this video @ 00.13 and 01:14 ?
YouTube - Ski-doo 800 XRS playin in the POW
This was happening because of that little vent on the bottom of the panel (nike check) was letting in snow and onto the clutches making the belt slip and then it would grab and pull the motor down...
i thought about the velcro, but decided against it because mine REALLY doesn't fit... so the amount of velcro that contacts the hood would be minimal at best and probably not hold especially in a roll over situation. plus velcro blows once it gets snow on it...
It's fairly well known that the first year XP's had issues with their hoods not fitting properly, this was because the hood was made too large to fit in it's proper position. either one side or the other can be place in it's hole but never both at the same time. Iv also heard of people losing...
Thought id toss this up here in case anyone was thinking of buying some.
I don't ever recall stepping far enough back to use them, they usually made snow buildup right in front of them and then turn into ice making it hard to clean the boards and some times slip off when standing far enough...
