Wow, 3000 km's is barely broken in as far as I'm concerned. You should get to 5000 km's on an 800R with no worries. I just did the top end on my 2010 renegade at 6050 km's and the rings were perfect with only some slight detonation on the pto side. I went with MCB dual ring pistons this time...

There will be a new Etec II system for BRP out in 2015, just more refined. Nothing wrong with a 2014 or a 2013 for that matter.

I was able to get 3/4 of the contents of a tube in. As long as its full when you put the seal back on it should be fine. I installed the bearing buddy on mine on the mag side too and give it a shot thru a grease gun filled with isoflex every year.

hey Krista, had that new sled out yet? Break in? We were out on Saturday in the gull lake area and the snow is awesome. We did about 90km's, I broke in my new top end on the ole 2010 renegade.

I prefer to doo all my own engine work, 2 stroke engines are simple. Did they check the ring end gap and fit them on the pistons to the cylinders and make sure there was -018-.020" clearance? The rings usually need to be filed a bit to get the proper gap in order to stop them from catching the...

I picked up a new 2013 skidoo MXZ 600 sport for my wife this year for $7599 plus gst with $300 credit and a belt and linq bag. Its a great riding little sled. 1.25 track and excellent on fuel and oil. I looked all over for a good used sled untill I found this little sled. Electric start too....

I wouldn't pay any more than $10,000 for any used 2013 mountain sled, don't care what brand. Some people are just plain greedy. Best to buy new. Unless your like the sellers and going to dump it on someone else a year later. Some people think their shite don't stink and theres gold close to the...
