It does have the paddle on the left side of the steering wheel for regen braking. I was surprised how well it works for slowing down in normal traffic.
It is.. he just didn't want me getting a free ride when everyone else was paying for fuel to get to work. I work in the oil and gas. It was in good fun. I wanted to see that vein pop out of his forehead when I told him.
I found it to be a great commuter vehicle. Fit and finish is really good. A little small for two kids and some baggage though. Perfect for my wife as she only drives 95% of the time in the city
Be that guy....Just plug in to your neighbor's house. lol. I had a loaner Chevy bolt to drive for a month back and forth to work. I was just using the power at work. I wanted to see if it would maintain itself without charging at home. It did no problem even on 110 volts. About 100 kms round...
I agree for the same reasons. I think chuky makes a great ambassador for cat. He's done a great job so far considering... If he needs to satisfy that itch to look at a different sled in his shop next year I think he would do great with the poo also. Haha!
I put over 600 kms on my expert and I can't say enough about it. It's more planted then the 19 summit 850 but not as ridgid as a freeride. It gets on top of the snow better and faster then anything else I saw. I find other sleds are trenching alot more including older summit 850's. The more I...
Big thanks to Terry at the summit river lodge for letting us try his 850 turbos. They are everything they advertised it to be! The snow is deep and it’s still coming down!
It’s going to be the old blame game...our clutch is fine, it’s your engine causing the failures. It’s not our engine it’s your clutch. Nether one of them is going to want to hold this hot potato. Someone will have to pay at some point
Rode Clemina today. One cat being towed off the hill with a cracked/ failed primary clutch. The guy was lucky though, as it failed close to the main trail by the cabin and not two mountains over. It’s getting deep!
Say what you want about supporting cat. IMO It's a sub par product for the money people spend for this brand. There are endless cat theads of homegrown fixes to make these machines reliable from new. Cat's fit & finish and QC is dead last of all four brands. Do they have good ideas and perform...
What does that mean? Because he's heavy on the throttle the clutchs automatically begin to crack and then fail? Cat has major design flaws to deal with. To unload a 2018 sled for parts after a failure like that wouldn't sit well for most people. Doesn't instill alot of faith in there product...
Are they replacing the complete engine? I would hope so. If the're just doing the top end I would be concerned about aluminum contamination throughout the bottom end. It won't do well for future longevity. Unload it.
Aren't you supposed to be in Thailand? You're getting really close to being called out to the MM weekend to prove your poo or turbo can still do something.
