AS of last week, they still had tonns. 3 feet of powder in most spots by Preeceville and a little less by Green Water.(friends just came back) It's been warm here in the south lately and snow is disappearing in the last 5 days.
Had made plans a while ago to go on 22nd weekend but not sure...
Just bought two sleds from the states. Well worth the trip. For what I saved, could have bought a third. That being said, the american dealers will not sell to canadians. In the past, there have been no problems, but with all the recent canadians buying down there, they said:nono:. But you...
Well all the hype and build up, and nothing new. Other than that ugly puke green. Oh well, like others have said, "if it's not broke don't fix it".
Was kind of hoping for a sweet new body still, and the 1000 HO that was anticipated
Has anybody from the sledding community approached the RCMP in Revy about this? There should be an easy solution for the RCMP. STOP EVERY TRUCK/TRAILER, OR TRUCK/SLED COMBO MOVING AFTER 10PM. Veryify that the sleds/trailers/and trucks match those who are in the trucks. Check the god damn...
Thanks for the pics snoqueen. I was planning on doing the wet sanding, just unsure of what grit to use. Thats what I was going to my bodyshop buddies for. I love the look of a sled with a nice bright polished tunnel. What did you use on the running boards around the snow eliminator holes...
Thanks for the reply's I will look into the products mentioned. I'm not afraid of the work and time to put in. Sorry boydo, I rarely get up to Edmonton area, and never with the sled. I'm going to check with some of the local body shops around here and get some suggestions and maybe grab some...
No need to sand with high grit first?? I'm looking for something I can probably pick up at canadian tire or home hardware or another common store. Don't wanna have to order an wait.
What is the best way, and polish to use on your tunnel to get that nice mirror like finish. I imagine something with a power buffer, but what types/brands of polish? Any tricks to get into the hard to reach areas around footwells and running boards etc?
If you wanna try something that is cheap and should be done anyways, just change your weights to proper elevation. The helix and spring shouldn't need to be changed. It should say the recommendations on your air box for weights and springs. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the factory spring...
Wow, I can't believe they would charge you at all for that, let alone 1/2 - 3/4 shop rate. Were you a previous customer? If you were I wouldn't be giving them anymore business.
It's little things like doing that for free that goes a long way in customer service. Which in the long run would...
That wouldn't stand in court. The ATVers did the right thing.
The same kind of incident with Brian happened around here. Bunch of kids stealing farm gas all the time. One farmer caught them in the act, put a couple rounds into their car. He ended up getting charged, but charges were dropped...
I was wondering that as well, been as it is YellowStone, I figured that they would force you to stay to the trails. Which would be a shame, imagine all that untouched powder. Looks very nice though.
Ok, I was just reading the thread for M8 clutching, and it got me wondering. I am really inexperienced in the clutching department. Will running weights for 3000-6000ft hurt anything on the flatlands. I was just under the impression that I would just be losing out on some top end. The sled...
