Pictures look great Terry! My wife and I have been tossing around the idea of riding there one year, the scenery looks awesome. Do you have to stay on the trails or can you venture off and find some untracked areas?

I was wondering that as well, been as it is YellowStone, I figured that they would force you to stay to the trails. Which would be a shame, imagine all that untouched powder. Looks very nice though.

lots of opportunity to go off trail, some areas are restricted... but well worth it. idaho had more snow even though the altitude was lower

west yellowstone in town 7850'
idaho on the trails 5870'

according to the altimititer on the m8 sno pro

we left yellowstone at 6.30 am and arrived home at 8pm only stopped for fuel and p breaks......

its nicer if u split it up (according to the girls) 10hrs one day and 6 the next and thats stopping twice to have a sit down meal.....well worth the drive........ get the trail passes though or its a 250.oo fine US...OOUCH

MONTANA PASS 25.00
IDAHO PASS 35.00

THIS IS PER MACHINE...BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY.........

there snow was down this yr as well........ it was agreat trip:d:d:d
