Looking at the pic I would say the air bag was packed wrong after the first test deploy. There is a certain way to pack them and it is stated in the instruction. I can pretty much guarantee that will be the first thing they ask you if you call them. I have test pulled mine at least 5 times now...
"Freeride is a less capable mountain sled then the Summit for climbing, sidehillng."
All I am saying is that the Freeride is just as capable as a Summit at sidehilling and climbing and it all it rider skill. I wasn't trying to be a jerk about it. Just stating what I have seen first hand.
Thats funny because I ride with someone who has 2 freerides. A 136 and 146 and he out sidehills everyone on the freeride and goes all the same places as larger track sleds in the mountains.. The freeride is a solid sled in the mountains or ditch bangin. It just all depends on the riders skills.
It was probably 3' deep of fresh snow that day and they were riding in the sande which see's far less traffic then the Torpy, so snowpack was probably far more unstable over there. I was riding over in the torpy when this happened and we only seen 1 small sledder triggered avalanche and a large...
I have used the extend a goose coupler and never had a problem with it. I didn't have experience tho with a short box as I was running a flat deck dually at the time. They did a recall a few years back to beef them up a bit and add some gussets to further strengthen them. B&W sent everyone...
Just go and ride. They haven't been out checking much and like others said, and if they happen to be out just be polite and respectful and you will more than likely get a warning. The cost of fuel to run back into alberta would be way more than the ticket.
I'm running this AFE in my LML with no problems yet. Had it in for around 70000km.

Kenwood all the way. Best range out of all the radios I have used, and I have used almost all brands with work. Also holds a ton of channels. They are a bit pricey tho but worth every penny.
I have to Yamaha 3000iseb with the boost and remote start. I found the yamaha to be quieter than the honda so thats why I went the yamaha route. I have had it a few years now and not 1 issue with it yet. Either way you go, they are both great generators.
I have had a spot for the last 3 years. I didn't know about the inreach back then but looking at the 2 now i would probably go inreach now. I like the fact that you can text with it. Spot does texting with the spot connect but you have to have a cell phone also. Just more stuff for batteries...
I bought the Helium 30 last year and it was an awesome jacket. Yes it's thin but being windproof it sure does keep the heat it. I rode McBride last year in -29 and all I had on under was a fleece jacket and I was plenty warm enough. I found last year I had the vents open all the time because...
There has been lots of people up there this year. Last week there was about 3 feet of snow but now it's probably more with the recent snowfall. Check the PG Snowmobile Club Facebook page. There is a few videos of Yanks last week on there.
