Yes this is true. I install signal systems for CN as a contractor. Best bet is to call the phone number on the sign first before you go dropping signals on trains tho.

I have never tried that, but also have never had an issue with my dually in the winter either. If you run good studded winter tires you won't have a problem. I use the studded Nokia Hakkapeliitta LT2's if that helps at all.

I was just about to post the same thing. A lot of those companies in board and ski shops are against sledders and will do what ever they can to close down sledding areas. Please do not support these companies, but hey, in the end it's your money so do what you will.

I agree with you 100%. I get so angry it just makes me want to reply to every comment and smash my poor computer. Good thing I know its not the computers fault or it would be dead. One I got a kick out of was "they should have insurance and registration to go out in the mountains." Stupid...
