I'm 36 years old, still ride and have fun on a 1987 kitty cat. So I'm not sure if age would be good to judge it. Lol. But I'm sure a 120 would be better overall and long term.
I was reading the post of a recent quad out at cataract in the conditions thread. Im watching youtube videos and there is a quad riding down the trails/ in parking lot. Here is the action his friend posted on youtube from his helmet cam. I will send a nice message to him so that he can educate...
You don't cover a 80 000 dollar truck but choose to drive it in the salt / crap roads so why would it be a big surprise to see $15 000-$30 000 in sleds not covered? That being said I cover mine in crap road conditions. Salt kills everything not just sleds.
Hey Graeme glad to see your getting back into sledding. I honestly cant see the sheep freezing up enough for safe sledding for experienced riding let alone new riders. I have been doing some fishing on this river and there are just so many big rocks sticking up and fast spots...
Maybe these guys can provide more conditions in the back. And in the bowl in the Red Bar Avalanche Conditions. Crazy!! Not my video. Put up 3 days ago.
Fording Pass Ouch - YouTube
Puckaneer19 You have have to remember that Fording mine is directly west of where you where over the first row of mountains. They do there Blasting at 2ish and sometimes 4. My buddy works there and told me this as i have herd these befor down that way. The way the wind was blowing out of the...
Stay off the steep hills. High avy conditions means high.
Its been + 8 for two days. So you can guess the conditions. Fording is tracked out big time. I was out there for two days. One close call today. Ill maybe post the pictures and tell story after I think about it or i calm down
I was there feb. 19. First thing in the morning. I did a walk around your trailer as I knew it was yours. I did look at the hitch, jack and believe the front frame rail had holes through it. Hitch lock ball was stuck up there.
yes sleds only out there. The trails are not groomed. They are starting to get whoops. So if thats better then quad ruts at Mclean then you could try there lol. Im just telling you this so you don't go there expecting to do 60 mile /hr on the trail
There is a sign saying stay on the trails at parking lot. There is also a sign at the top of the pass saying alberta / bc boarder, there was one a few years ago anyway. I tryed to make a few google earth pictures. Maybe it will make it easer to understand. Its been said a million times but i...
No bridge is required at that spot. Its an old creek crossing. Just a picture showing how deep its cut. Where the the "new crossing" is buy the snowmobile sign, that never used to be a creek there.....
Make sure the rubber O rings are on the weight bolts( nut and bolt head). .Cracked spider maybe. Look close in the middle of the clutch. My m1000 just did this.
If its not your power valves then Check your primary clutch over well. I had an intermittent power/ bog. It would run good then sometimes not. It was a clutch roller and weight problem for mine.15 miles later i figured it out.
