Kinda like everyone driving around with full collision insurance on every vehicle they own. Very expensive if you don't ever use it. But just one accident without it on there and you will sure wish you had paid that extra cash on your policy instead of that 5 digit bill to get your truck...
Be interesting to see how much snow they have up there now. We got nothing to speak of at all in Grande Cache yesterday. Also want to see an actual honest opinion on your Boost to a G5. As I sit here at work.
I can see that. Some guys will have 4000 kms on a G5 by next Feb. By then the "ride it for two years and snowcheck a new one guys" will be looking to sell their 2023's as well.
Bent boards, tweaked rails, straightened the tunnel (pretty much), replaced both bumpers (twice), bar warmers worked two years ago, track has most of the lugs, clutches cleaned at the factory before it went in the crate. Solid reliable unit you can trust in the backcountry. :drink4: But to each...
And don't forget that the factory warranty is being reduced as well on the new sleds. So when you think you are getting a wicked deal on that used two year old sled keep in mind that it likely has little to no warranty left. Some people are ok with that; but when your wicked deal, "I got a '22...
That's why I only looked at 2020.5's with BRP warranty remaining. Then I just extended it another 3 years. The new 2023 G5's will be off BRP warranty now before mine runs out in 2026. :Cool9:
Not a lecture at all; just my observations that there Is no one type or brand of sled that can be claimed “the best” because nobody knows what anyone else’s preferences are.
All the this sled is better than that sled chit is dependant on what the rider wants out of the sled. If you want to creep along thru the trees on your side panels you likely don’t want/need a turbo. If you like riding open areas and doing some climbing then something with boost is likely gonna...
My G4 Turbo has warranty until 2026. Not sure I want to even ride a G5 until at least next winter so I won't be tempted to make a move that will cost me a bunch of $$$$$$$
