I find it strange Yamaha hasent made a more aggressive push in the snowmobile world. They did in the late 2000's and early 2010's with their 4 strokes than fell off when the industry favored 2 strokes. Out of all the sled manufacturers I would think they would have the most resources to put the...
I was so close to ordering a d/s but chickened out. Just kept hearing how planted and heavy the 22's were. Watching Andrea's chick that sled is just absolutely mind blowing.
Narrower running boards, narrower body panels, and new geometry in the rear skid keeps the front end of the sled on a more level plane with the track instead of it being higher than the track.
Where is the issues going to be? Motor is the same, turbo is the same and clutching has stayed the same except for a few pieces inside the primary.
Any issues I could see arising from this is poor factory clutching which we have been dealing with forever. Maybe routing of some oil lines or...
Hp, skis, brake lever, all body paneling, tunnel narrowed at the boards and new coolant re routing, primary clutch internals, skid redesigned, new track, new gauge sounds like a new generation to me. What is left the bulkhead? And a different motor?
Thanks. The DS has me interested just not sure on the 15" track and the 36" front end. Been rocking these 16" tracks forever. The wider skis and the 36" front end not sure on that either.
200hp turbo with 1 year warranty on a new chassis? Will stick with the G4 till the manufacturer will back its product with a 3 year warranty... Polaris boys can have that 1 year warranty...
