I tried posting in the Satellite phone section and received no response. So I thought I'd try here :D. I just purchased an Inreach Explorer. The company offers additional GEOS insurance for Medivac and Search & Rescue (at about $130+ a year). I'm not sure if this is covered in Canadian or if...
I just purchased an Inreach Explorer. The company offers additional GEOS insurance (at about $130+ a year). I'm not sure if as Canadians we need the extra insurance or if the Government covers the search & rescue, etc. costs. Does anyone know if this extra coverage is needed? I would really...
I just purchased an InReach Explorer at Sports Chek (Atmosphere section) for $316+ tax regularly $440+ tax. Boxing week sale is on at 20% off and you can get another 10% off by signing up on their web site. Can be used with the SE version as well. You can also use a coupon on the InReach site...
Pellet smokers rock! I bought a taeger knock off from Lowes (Chargriller) for $400 on sale. Where as a traeger is $1300. Looks the same, operates the same and cooks the same, you can not tell the difference in the taste. Compare before you buy. Either way it is well worth the money.
I own a 2 place open trailer w/front shield, I can move it by hand, tow it (1500# with the sleds) with my SUV and at the end of the day I can just back it into the shop and unhook it. I own a Dodge 1 ton but I don't want to tie up the box and I'm also not a fan of loading and unloading from that...
I go to the show because I am fairly new to the sport and I want to see all the new toys (probably buy a few, new boots are on my list). I would also like to visit with people in the sport and make new friends.
I have a completely stock (except for a can), 2008 RMK 600 CFI and I found a Power Commander lll for it. I am new to riding and take it fairly easy on my machine.I am looking for opinions on if this would be a good idea or just a waste of money. What I don't want, is something that might damage...
IMO a sled is worth what you can get for it. Last year I purchased 2 RMK 600's, I may have paid too much for them but that is what the others were selling for. Why bitch because people are wanting too much... just don't buy it. Problem solved.
I disagree with the blame being the buyers in most cases, I have looked at dozens of cars/bikes/etc some as far as 4 hours away and a lot were not as described. I'd say 50/50 when it comes to being creeps.
I bought a 2008 600cfi because I was worried about possible starting issues, then my buddy bought a 2008 600HO (carbed) it starts 2nd pull. First pull choke on full then 1/2 choke second pull and it starts every time. The biggest difference is the HO's are about $1300 cheaper. Either way I don't...
Hi everyone. My name is Rick, I own a 2008 RMK 600cfi 155". I'm new to sledding and am looking for people to ride with. I do great on the trails/light snow, but need to learn how to ride in the deep snow. I would like to find people to ride with. I am completely self sufficient with my own...
