I have a seadoo xp 800 and i would start it then rev it up worked fine then when i let off the throttle and give it again it wouldn't rev up sounded like it was on the rev limiter changed mpem and it has run perfect ever since

how often do you see a pump fail? I run premix 40-1 on my seadoo and trust me sometimes it is a pain in the neck, when you are riding in a wake zone with max 5 mph it starts loading up and smokes pretty bad as soon as you are on the throttle it's fine, on everything that is raced you normally...

ok here it is 01-02-03-04-05 800s run BR9ECS-5 06 and up run BR9ECS the 5 means 05mm gap which was used on skidoos with MPEM when they went to using ECM they ran bigger gap

I found that if my carb heater was on after turning it off never had the problem again

if the pickup coil for reverse was shot it would stall everytime you push the button I would be looking at the connector pins for ecm and check relay

and the fuel screws usually i will turn them out an extra 1/4 turn and idle comes right down

check your rpm's maybe you are running it to the revlimit

if the shortblock comes from brp the core is 700 regardless seadoo or skidoo + gst

anybody that got their updates done this problem should have been fixed
