So, how do you know when its time to replace the clutch buttons? I was checking the rubber o rings, and got curious how you can tell when their time is up.
Thanks

i look down the groove on the face of the button, if it looks overly worn out (one side tapered more than the other) then i replace them

For the small price of the pucks, i replace them every couple years.... They are really cheap, like a buck or 2 each.....

This is true, I bought a set of them when I picked up my o rings. I just wasn't sure if there was something to look for when they are worn out.
Thanks

If there are any grooves in the buttons then replace them. There will be rough edges on the side.

Also double check the cushions on either side of the rollers and replace if heavily worn.
