Custom Chain length & Repair

Does anyone in calgary do custom chain lengths?

ie: i want to take my 106link down to a 104 link, someone who can remove the 2 links and assemble it back together.

you can do it on your own. Grind/file off the head of the pin, punch it through with a drift then do the same to the link you want to remove.

Reassemble, punch pin through, round off head of pin.

Thats fair considering the freight from anywhere else.

you cant do those chains this way you have to just punch the pin out with a small punch.
than take the links out. once you have done this you will need a steel block and a ballpean hammer to mushroom the end of the pin again to get it back together. I lengthined my chain a couple of mounts ago and it was a pain in the a$$ but that is how i was told how it was done by my dealer.
