I dont know about you guys, but I still wouldnt be comfortable knowing I have a bandaid fix on my brand new sled way back in the hills where chopper is the only way out. Shi..y as it is, if polaris isnt going to fix it properly, then I would likely be doing it myself(new shaft). Maybe pick one...
Depends on the snow in the valley, not on top. The cut block is a beotch to get through without ample snow, and those trees grow a little more each year. I remember our first trip into salmon over 10 years ago, there was only little bushes to worry about, now they are trees.
I like to wait till it is real deep before I break into Salmon. Need a little challenge. Plus the little trees in the first cut block make it real hard to find the right line.
Well its that time of the year again. The time where I see all the early season guys coming back with handlebars and ski's dangling off the deck. Used to be trailing arms. Either way, I'm dying to ride too, but 100 cm's of snow won't cover the 200 cm rocks. Keep the reports, and the snow coming.
When I cut mine I was able to re-use the end caps as well. Looks like a factory job. I just oversized the hole on the end caps and used the anti-stab shaft to hold in in place.
We are talking about 25 - 30 reliable, responsive and runable horsepower, on pump gas, with more bottom end torque and throttle response than a turbo sled. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Turbos have enormous fun factor when they are running right, but big NA horsepower is wicked...

OK its almost feburary ,,,new info on the peaks track?? - SnoWest Snowmobile Forum
Guess it depends on what kind of snow you ride in. Out in Vale and Blue, it didnt work with a SH.T. The CE is a better track for all...
I also read somewhere, that Cammoplast will not warranty any 3" tracks with 7 tooth drivers. Something about the diameter being too small and tearing the lugs at the base. Not sure if it is real, but makes sense to me. Heard of alot of guys with doos loosing paddles on their 3", and they...
removal of chaincase involves heating the adhesive with a propane torch.
You have to cut the little notch off the tunnel
Fit the billet housing on the clutch side and mark the bearing retainer on the inside of the tunnel. Cut away the marked out area.
Notch the footwell for the lower bolt on...
Turbo and big bore power are two completely different animals. The turbo is more for top end power, where the big bore will have better bottom end torque. If you are a hill climber, or lake racer, then turbo is likely a better option. If you are into tighter, more technical riding, or even a...
