I have a 09/1000 crossfire. Minor mods done to it with 1500 miles on it never had a problem. Cat has been good to me. Another thing to note though is rumor has it 95% of all Doos made are still on the trail today, the other 5% made it home.:d:d:d
Had the same bog. I put on D&D full ceramic exhaust with fuel controler. Also changed out the reeds to boyesen rage cage and D&D fire breather air intake. Added an egt gauge and air fuel ratio gauge to keep track of this wild thing besides checking the plugs. It runs sweet and has no bog at all...
Run the front shock on the rear skid as loose as possible. This will give good approach angle for powder and trail riding. Do not as in the other post adjust the straps. To tight of tension on front shock causes loss of speed and bad approach angle for powder.
Put the boyesen rage cage on my 09/1000 Crossfire. Made the machine run way better. Had bog at top end is gone now. Very happy with the rage cage. Seems to have finished my performance upgrades. I have the rage cage with the D&D Fire Breather, full D&D exhaust with the Boondocker fuel control...
The manual also says to adjust after on the trail warmed up. That could lead to rough ride might end up higher press when warmed up. I have the 09 crossfire sno-pro same shocks. Maybe see around the area sometime. In fort mac also.
You guys have very little to complain about. A commercial driver a little bit out of whack is gone through with a fine tooth comb. Have heard of fines in the thousands. They are made to be more legal and safe than any vehicle on the road today. Also a lot of them get away with a lot of things...
I have installed the Boyeson Reeds on my 09 1000 crossfire and from a friend of mine riding his 09 renegade with a 1 3/4 track said it is a totally different machine and I agree. The throttle response is right now and speed pickup is great. On 6 inches of powder we raced beat him hands down and...
Thanks every-one at T&T you gave me great service when i got to your dealership early. My sled was brought in right away and was ready to go again by the time my appointment was suppose to be. I am from out of town 4 and 1/2 hrs away and it was great to be on the road again and back home for...
I changed out the exhaust on my 09/1000 crossfire. Changed weights out for dalton adjustables and the secondary spring and helix. Works very well. The extra horse power needs clutching to get it to the ground better
Been reading this forum for a while now. I live in Fort Mac and we need snow. Excellent place for information on any sled. I myself ride a 09 crossfire 1000 sno pro. Its a Great machine and am looking forward to helping out with information or asking for it. Thanks every-one for such a great...
