Edmonton Sled Show - best deals found

I was wondering what those cards were I saw. Not sure how I can stick it to the tool cabinet in the spring. Lol

Local dealer marks up parts MSRP +20%

That’s weird. I went to the website and it gave me an option to add it to my cart.

Local dealer marks up parts MSRP +20%

Curious to what would happen if you just ordered it from their website. BRP used to offer free in store pickup so it was whatever price was on the website. I haven’t purchased any other OEM stuff from other sites to compare.

The Edmonton Oiler's Official Chat page....

Their haphazard play will catch up to them. While they have capitalized on the chances they have got they have been outplayed for a good portion of the last couple of games. Outshot, our chanced, taken bad penalties too often, lots of turn overs and missed stretch passes, and relied on decent...

    2017 AXYS Exhaust

GGB Quiet can. More like a SLP in its design but with a slightly different exhaust note. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LHrXunX2sQE Don’t sacrifice you and your buddies giving you a ski tugs ears. Any can with packing will get louder the more you use them. I could never get more than a season...

The Edmonton Oiler's Official Chat page....

It’s great to see a team that has faltered so often off to a great start but 4 games, 10 games, even 15 games doesn’t mean much if they can’t be consistent all season. The Oilers were not horrible last year until about Dec 16th I believe it was, in a playoff position and went on a miserable run...

    Favorite gloves?

It was at least five years ago so I am unsure but it was whatever someone else at the time suggested. They were mostly leather, the Heli series sounds familiar.

    Favorite gloves?

They didn’t impress me. They were very stiff and too much insulation. Sure nice quality and likely excellent for skiers but I prefer a free’er moving glove.

need help deciding on new sled

I like the 155. The only time for me that it’s a sacrifice is if you stop pointed straight up on deeper days and there isn’t room due to tighter trees to throw it on its side and just throttle out. Going back to a 155 2.6 from a 163 3” was a great decision for me last winter. I have ridden...

    Favorite gloves?

I am notoriously hard on gloves. I have gone through 3 pair of FXR gloves in a year, Motorfist had an okay product, Skidoo mountain gloves used to be okay. Klim is hit and miss for me. 509 freeirde gloves actually held up better than many others. But the hands down best gloves I have had in...

    Ubiquiti camers/home setup - experience?

Having the Modem put into bridge mode is not an option due to the DVR requiring it unbridged is what I was told when we first got the service as I was looking for improved speeds when using my other router and the wife not having her DVR is not an option lol. They are basically the only high...

    Ubiquiti camers/home setup - experience?

Awesome. I am not sure I can turn off the wifi from the cable modem but I will look into it. I already run a second router with wifi to expand my wifi coverage so I am used to having two different accesses if it can’t be turned off. Would you suggest a USG for home use it is it overkill? For...

    Ubiquiti camers/home setup - experience?

So basically you listed everything I have somewhat settled on for my little server. In the last few days of searching I have moved away from the standalone NVR and onto the Cloud Key Gen 2 +, along with the 8 port 150w and four G3 cameras which should be 24v from what I read so not a major issue...

    Ubiquiti camers/home setup - experience?

I did look at the HIKvision, are yours POE? Do you find the email alerts are timely? That’s the biggest complaint I have seen.

    Escape Mountain

My money is on Queest. There are 3 spots that looked very familiar, the first location they found looks to be a spot not to far from the cabin, the second is the ridge on top and then towards the saddle. Queest would also make sense since Karl could easily set everything up from home. %90...

    Ubiquiti camers/home setup - experience?

Anyone have experience with Ubiquiti or other PoE home camera systems? I want to upgrade my cheapo wifo cameras to a PoE system and I am not overly interested in the big box store stuff like Swann/Lorex. I have looked into the Ubiquiti cameras (G3) as they have very positive reviews but I want...

    Tip of the day

I actually have been using the DEF funnel on my bleach container to get bleach into the RV holding tank for years as it’s the same size for those bottles as well.

No point in worrying about it. Ride it when it’s here and go to Mexico when it’s not.

    Highway 1 Detours starting 2020

I came here to share this but the job was already done. Week long closures at times will impact some people’s plans for sure. Adding 100km to just hit Golden for a day trip is not really ideal for those who do from Calgary. 93 blows. Lots of wildlife at times, and honestly the road gets...
