I went to see a used quad today...it was a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 800....it was a decent bargain considering the price and how many kms it had on it. Only real concern was that the shifter from P-R-N-L-H was sticking quite a bit when trying to shift....especially from Park to the first position...

what about the heat and fuel smell issues? we are looking at getting a 2017 sportsman in the next week........just curious

to be honest.......i think i will be loking for one cheaper. we r prob gonna get a sportsman new and then a $2000-3000 used quad so we can have two. i sold my offroad truck so i think this is the plan now but thanks...your machine sounds pretty sweet

Havent bought them yet.....most likely one will be a newer 500-ish cc motor polaris sportsman and the other will likely be something around 500cc motor - maybe 10-15 yrs old.
