I bought a new 2015 EPS for my wife, she likes it apart from the heat and fuel smell issue. I have done a couple things to it to help with those issues

It's my understanding that the gas boils from the engine heat.

There was an update done to fix the fuel smell as well as more shielding on the right side of the machine.
