I'm in the market for two quads.....one being newer for the wifey so it can have power steering.

Looking at new atv pricing.....I like the polaris sportsmans and the pricing is pretty good. I see a brand called CFMOTO - don't know anything about them but they are priced well and offer a 5 year warranty.

Just wondering if anyone here knows about this brand of ATV?

A couple years ago I rented a machine to tour a Greek island and they ran a bunch of CfMoto’s and seemed in decent shape with higher miles. Honestly they looked in better shape than the Rzr’s there...
Personally I would still have a hard time buying them though

Too many guys have issues with parts. I'm sure they are getting better but that is a lot of cash to spend on something that might not last more then a year or two.

What he said. They may be cheaper, but they're not that much cheaper.

I've know guys that have bought cheap cheap cheap Chinese knockoffs and were happy with them because they were pretty much disposable. They'd beat the crap outta them for a couple years and buy new ones. However, these CFMoto's wouldn't be cheap enough for me to justify the risk. As much as I've lost all trust for Polaris, I'd probably go that route instead. The PoPo's are actaully pretty nice machines - it's just hit or miss how much trouble you'll have with it. That said, most makes these days have their issues.

I have yet to see any on the trails, maybe people are buying them for the farm or something but they don't seem to be out there for any serious quading for some reason. Personally I would stick with a normal brand name where you know you can get parts in the future and have decent resale value.

I got a buddy with the rzr knock off. It’s pretty good rides good, goes pretty fast. The one thing is it shifts bad. Going from forward to reverse it grinds like crazy. If you buy one you better like it as you will have it for life unlesss you give it away the resale is horrible

That's too bad they are still not worthy...... It would be nice to have another contender on the market, with cheaper pricing.

Just ask yourself where you'll get parts if needed, no repair shop will stock parts or want to work on them.

Actually the warranty is better than the big 3, and all parts are 3 days away

The old brp dealer here took on the c.f moto, he went and toured the plant and parts warehouse, said it was just as good as brp, and he's pretty stubborn

Also the warranty is better than any other, if your out of town for example, you have a warranty issue and need it fixed, c.f moto will pay full shop rate to get it in and fixed asap ( normal for all manufactured stuff to have way less shop rate paid, compared to there normal shop rate) , oh and that's why most shops don't like to stay late to work, cause they get way less warranty shop rate

Are you going from what the dealer is saying or from owners??
