what i did was something similar to this with the ratchet strap (i used a more heavy duty one than whats shown here) - is this ok? I would install some sort of ring or hook thing on the trailer to tie down to (not just hook on the edge of the trailer

Thanks a lot guys. I ended up going to the Polaris dealer in St Albert and got the key cut and the rubber boots. It's just weird because the dealer I bought the one quad from told me that they don't cut keys and yet they were a Polaris dealer.

I asked Polaris and they said they do not do them there at the dealership and I went to Canadian Tire and they said no they don't do them. Any idea where I can get keys cut I'd like to get a duplicate key for each quad in case we ever lose one or something

Ok.....Id like to go through the quad i just bought and change fluids, etc. The quad is 12 years old and only has 600 kms on it. Im guessing fluids havent been changed in a while What things should i do for maintenance before taking this bad boy for a rip? Im guessing change engine...

ive been quadding before.....took my pops's 550 sportsman out a cpl times. Im def not a crazy freewheelin quadder. Im very cautious when quadding......mostly trail rides at slower speeds with the odd mudhole thrown in haha
