I've seen a few guys on gen3usa.com that have sled motors in scramblers. Most of them seem to run them in the sand dunes though.

Theres a few of these scramblers with sled motors on you tube. The acceleration looks absolutely crazy!

The can ams are a nice machine. No one has mentioned the problems with cracked and broken frames though!!

2007 was the first year of the new 6.7 but they did build some 07s with the 5.9 (without all the emissions crap on the 6.7). Not sure if it was just the first half of the year or if it was something you could order? I'm glad mine is the 5.9 cummins though!

you can get a set of zillas in 25" for 12"front and 10"rear rims. Not sure if they will measure 25"tall or be shorter? I have the same rim combination on my scrambler and run 24" bear claws. If you have the 4 on 4 rear bolt pattern on your xplorer you can probably pick up some used rear hubs...
