Not sure of the exact design theory for the different clutch designs, but yup, Yamaha's ATV clutch uses grease. I have an 03 Grizz & have cleaned & serviced the clutch several times and I've never had a problem with the grease affecting the belt. Now, having said that, when you put the clutch...

Here's a link to axles for all ATV's (& other vehicles) ... not sure if these are stock size or a bit heavier ... I assume they are stock size. However, it is an option if someone is look'in for axles. There are 20 pages, so you should be able to find what ya need ... Later ....

b_youngblood22 ... two others things to look and something to consider ... 1) If you ever do the reverse over ride mod, the reverse lite won't come on, but you still have reverse ... so, are the lites that important ? Not really ... 2) Like rocketron wrote, you can pull the rear brake handle...
