o-ring suppliers would charge less than 20 cents for the 6 o-rings. does any one know if they are metric or standard sizes? will nitrile 70 durometer work? I wonder if all Ski-Doo dealers buy these from BRP or do they pick them up at any o-ring wholesaler and make 15,000% mark up.

I have been running them on my 96 non X 670 for years wth taper bored carbs and a rotary intake plate with a larger volume port. I was told to put the shorty boots on by someone who knows Doos and he claimed quicker throttle resonse, It is hard to say if it helped as i fattened the base gasket...

thumb fatigue on the "X" for most women is an issue, Not much that you can do about the strong springs on the throttle return.

670 have instant throttle response when set up properly, Gutted air box, short rv boots, bored carbs, fattened base gasket, shaved head from .059 to 0.62 squish, 501 intake plate, jaws twin pipes and hold on. It might not make the power of an 800 HO but very very reliable. I have 10 seasons...

two near misses with my left hand throttle, good for thumb fatigue for the ride down and i have used it while getting unstuck a couple times, I won't take it off but i won't be putting one on my spare sled as I never use it while riding.
