Time for a new one. Season is coming soon and the official opening is still Dec 4.

Big changes for the area, massive logging up forster drainage. New parking lot being built at 28km, they will be logging all winter so no parking at Dog leg lake, the water resovoir or the main lot at 19km.

During the week there will be 15 loads a day coming out but no work on the weekends and the road will only be plowed weekdays. Weekends may be spicy so be prepared.

Radios are a must have.

Hope they fix the bump on the bridge by the reservoir, pretty sure I caught air on that!

If we are to park at 28 now I'm guessing the loggers turn off somewhere before that.

Yes i beleive so, sounds like they are working around 35km now. They are logging the entire valley over the next 10 years.

I have been told the road is completely rebuilt. No more blind corners, pullout every km etc.

Freezing levels are way high.... expect heavy wet snow. 23cms fresh on top of panorama today

Rode paradise today.... 5cms at the plot, gets deeper right away. 50 cms heavy snow by 4km, from 8km a meter plus of lighter goodness. Lots of trees down on the trail, chainsaw would have helped.... best start to the season in years. High wind at 7500' is creating some biiig cornices.
