yukon tent stove m1950

anyone used this yukon tent stove m1950.found some on ebay seem like they might be alright for a sled camp..they can burn wood,coal,or liquid fuel.

All I ever used in our Kakwa camp was a propane heater.It worked really well.

did those propane heaters go through alot of fuel?

IF we used 2 100 pounders we would be lucky.We hooked up our stove and BBG to it as well.

The Army uses them, they are little fuel pigs at todays gas prices however burning wood you can't go wrong, you can get them red hot, fill it up adjust the air it gets and it will burn pretty well the night.

i got one on ebay for 100 bucks,good thing used jet fuel is realy cheap......

Used them in the army, puts out alot of heat but as stated burns alot of fuel (we used gasoline). A little salt to prevent sticking and it makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the world though. Nice that it'll burn pretty much any liquid fuel or wood though.

Isn't used jet fuel just smoke?
