The music added to videos creates and has created all sorts of minor problems for the videographer from things like not being able to watch the video on mobiles, banned in some countries, some artists result in no up-loading of a video with their music, etc.. I put up a video in April of 2012 called Spring Riding and added the back ground music of John Denver. Yesterday, I got this notice. For "f......" sakes, this is over two years old already and they are just now concerned! Interesting to say the least :noidea:

Hi ferniesnow,Due to a copyright claim, the audio in your YouTube video has been muted.
Video title: Spring riding; April 1st, 2012

Me and Revmike could get all ****ed up one night and lay down some dirty drunken rock and roll up in the shop for future vids. You gotta buy beer though.

I've only got a couple there with music, but I've been expecting the same thing. So far, so good though. Hmmmmmm......Awol Nation & Molly Hatchett versus John Denver......I know what it is Doug!

"REAL" music is more forgiving than that country crap you've been using!

On a side note, Youtube has sure been relentless with advertising as of late.

I've been using it the past couple years with music on my videos no problem

Most of mine are no problem. I have found that videos with Tracy Lawrence songs will not get uploaded. They have an "error 401". I just find it funny that two years later they decide to exercise the copyright.

YouTube has a database of free music on their website. Just go to your video manager, find that video, click on the down arrow and find the "audio" tab. There should be an option to remove the copy written audio, and there will be a list of options that you could add in. The good thing about the audio removing is that the software on their website is getting even better. It tries to remove only the copy written audio. So the sound from the sleds will more then likely stay.

Hope this helps.
