York creek Avy history question

Just a question for some of the old timers out there , has anyone ever seen anything in the York basin slide? I know lost is another story, but I was wondering about york.

yes i have see york and lynx slide. the bowl has very large wind loading on the slope. the lanche will travel all the way through the trees at the bottom pass were everybody usually parks.

I'm no old timer but I grew up in bush town and I have seen 3 come down in my presents (smaller ones) and I have showed up several times after they have fallen, like the next day kind of thing ( bigger ones).

I grew up in Coleman riding York, The main shoot slides, the worst I have seen is about a 20 foot deep slide come off of it and cover the whole lower area into the bigger timber. The North West area slides but never seen anything huge but still big enough to be bad. As for the south side it slides too. So needless to say its like any basin, if the conditions are right/wrong then it can slide.
