i like that seat, what make is it?

It is the seat off of my 1996 500 summit!!
i took it to i friend of my dads and he shortened it, made it 2 inches higher and recovered it for $160!(it was a lot cheaper then a boss seat!)

It's weight is 5 pounds!
Iam trying to sell the engine right now and hope to put a 600 rmk with pipes in it place!!

I live a 4600 feet!!
It has 400s in it right now and yes i know that they are WAY TOO big!
My 740 UB only has 320 in IT, so what should i put in??

400's might be the right ones in the 500. The summits had the HAC or DPM which makes it think it is at sea level altitude. Your 740 would be running 380-400 at sea level too but it doesn't have the HAC so you would have to jet it down as you go up in elevation, the Summit does not require jetting down as it adjusts baseline jetting from sea level (the 400 jets that are in it now) and varies pressure in the float bowls as altitude to deliver the proper amount of fuel. Basically, the HAC or DPM jets it down for you so you don't need to. Don't start jetting down on a HAC/DPM sled without running it first, you might melt it down.

Why are you selling the 740? Did you blow it up?

Wouldn't bother changing to a 600 poo. Those are pigs too. Stick with the power you got with the 740. If you can afford the sled, you can afford the fuel.
