Although the incidents maybe rare, all it takes is to happen once in front of the wrong people that use it against us.This thread is interesting. The funny thing is i have never really seen an issue in any of the places i go. Every one is usually happy and pumped about riding.
I cover many different areas through out the province and pretty much always had good experiences, i would say the biggest complaint is ATV's pounding the sled trail and rutting it up for a kilometer or two.
The one thing i can say and i'm not sure if this is the reason, but i tend to avoid busy areas as much as possible and don't ride areas near the Alberta border as they seem to be a gong show every time i've gone near them. There seem to be a different type of mentality in these popular easterly riding areas. So most of my riding is kept west of Revelstoke to the coast.
