Yammy Days in Revy-Calling all turbo 2-strokes

I just read this whole thread and it is hilarious. I gotta say I love competition and being called out by the two stroke crowd. My kid tried monster at Yamafest and got stuck with his skis hanging over the top. I was one of the guys that walked down and helped some dude turn his two stroke around. It was a fun day for sure. I put my name on the last virgin chute in the Monster bowl this spring, maybe I will post a pic of it. It will be on Boost when it comes out.
We showed the 1200 boosted 2 strokes at Big Dawg once again, but hey, they are getting closer. But we have some new tricks this year so we can really turn up the boost.

That was some funny chit......all the Notorious peeps jumped in.
Those climbs still have me shaking my head.....it's what separates the MEN from the boys.....and the separation is huge...no gray area..........Thank God for VEEDY or most of us would never know what it's like to have REALLY BIG BALLS.:d

my buddy was the black 1000 turbo you jumped down and helped out. I unfortunatly was the one who garage sale his kitty (black with orange tunnel), I picked up all my plastic on the shameful slide down LOL. On the vid we counted it roll 68 times I think. I had it back together by the next morning in time to go and pull the finger shoots in turtle, that was a blast. props to your kid, that was a real nice pull. I really wish more guys would have lined up to try it though. Seams like everyone talks how there ch!t is going to destroy the next guys then when it comes time to get it done everyone stands around saying how they could do it but never try, as you can see from the thread I backed myself into the wall and I did it for a reason, so that when me and my buddy showed up we could not back out. I wanted to make sure we tried it, we have looked at it lots but always seem to lose our nerve. I won't think twice bout trying it this season. I think I got the lined fiqured out at the top. I only replayed that chute in my mind 1 billion times since that ride. Can't wait for the season to start.

Man I would love to reply too this thread but I just don't know where to start. I will leave it at this, if you see me in Revy this winter and want to try a boosted Apex then come on over and make an educated choice. Not just what someone tells you is better, lighter, faster or just a point and shoot machine, etc.

I will be in revvy nov 6th, and would like to take you up on that. what does your sled look like, I may have bumped into you before already. I ride a boosted 7 right now and have resisted the urge for the past year to boost an apex or nytro. Just not sold yet, I guess!

They say that an M1000 with the 1200 kit and big turbo on it that even the big boosted yammy's cant beat it.. But i would like to try a boosted yammy out some time.. So if your ever up in the mcbride area look me up.. I'll be runnun the sled shop Mountain valley motorsports..

Ya no problem! It was at Yama fest, Black Apex with 174, Mike and I where climbing Ermin's arm to the right of Monster. I think I even helped one of your buddies at the top of Monster pull his Cat to the top. Not sure what his name is but I also tried his sled at the Big Dawg Shootout.

Whoever "they" are is wrong. We beat them all at Big Dawg. There was at least 3 1200 t-bo cats there and Yamaha finished 1st and 2nd. The Cats are fast though, there is no doubt. The biggest difference I have seen is when they have to dump the throttle to make a turn, there is no way the motor can recover fast enough to pull it up the hill(chute). I have seen this 3 times standing at the top of the Monster chute. They all came up plenty fast, but none of them could make the corner at the top. They look like a great point and shoot sled though.,:d

yes I saw ya there, My buddy didn't make big dawg must have been some one else though. He rode the black 1000t with monster decal and I was one the black 7t with orange monster decal. We were both planning on getting out to big dawg, but had conflicting schedules. My buddy is going full carbon chassy (tunnel, bulkhead, front and rear suspension) from acl , it will be 1to1 hp to weight when finished, just over 400hp and just over 400lb, running a 1200t in it. if this does not track down a 4 lunger I will give up on 2 strokes and begin my 4 stroke build next spring. I unfortunatly am stuck on the little 700 turbo this year, but it seems to be enough for me for now.
