Need Wider skis with dual carbides for 17 side winder… need better flotation … any suggestions?

I’ve used Doo pilot 6.9’s on 4strokes before, better float then stock skis. I run grippers on the current sled with single carbide

I bought a set of used Polaris grippers for my Sidewinder and never end up using them, very close to the Yamaha ski and I have found no issues with the stock skis. Why the dual carbide?

I have a blue pair of the “curve xs ski” that I took of my viper that are sitting on my shelf if anyone is looking for a ski like that.

I ran grippers many years on my 15 viper . Like others have said the newer winder ski is pretty much same ski width . I bought a set of sly dog power hounds last season and really like them

I put on slydog attack skis on mine. Had the Hounds on my Nytro and found the Attacks are easier to sidehill with.

I’m assuming this is going on a BTX or XTX? To be ran on trails? Most mountain guys (deep snow) give a crap about on trail handling. The pilot 6.9’s are a dual carbide ski, at the expense of slightly heavier steering. What is your sled / application?
