XP belt tool

I've got a buddy that bought a 2010 XP Summit Everest used from a guy in town and he didn't include the tool kit with it. Is the belt change tool the same as the tool that was used on the later model (2007) rev sleds? How prone are these things to breaking belts?

He's a cheap bastid and only wanted that tool but I told him to buy the whole kit since he'll probably need that shock tool anyways. Thanks for the assist.

There's an upgrade for the xp that we installed on my buddy's '09. it replaces the entire belt height adjuster with a different on that uses the same tool as the older sleds. (same as my 02 and 05) I think he got it from martin. The stock one on his '09 is shivty as it uses an NPT plug to lock the adjuster in place.

Yeah but the 2010 one is better than the '09 one anyways
