Do the new XM sleds need these vent kits to help keep clutch temps down? I know that on previous models they were a messily but after I bought a vent kit I heard one of the other parts guys saying they aren't need and just a cash grab. What is everyone running vented or stock?

I am running stock vents mostly because I have a sick wrap to put on my sled that vents would ruin the flow of but if I do find the temps too high I will put some added venting would rather cool clutches than the wrap looking good.

I don't think any extra venting is needed.
Screen kit for the existing venting is a must though IMO.

I put on the after market BRP vent set which keeps the snow out of the engine chamber. The snow which gets into the engine compartment turns into a block of ice under the pipe.
