Also who bought from where shouldn't matter cuz it's not money out of their pocket for the fix its dealers doing the repairs for "BRP" so if it was bought there or not shouldn't matter. I'm not gonna drive for hours to where the sled was purchased just to get treated right when I had no choice but to buy out there because the dealer I deal with had no more sleds. Also that dealer would also probably say "you" didn't buy it here the guy you bought it off did so we still need to take care of the "people" that bought from here. So ya I still think it's bullch!t that I get this runaround when it's the sleds that should be taken care of not just who bought it from there. Just my opinion though. To each his own.

You try the guys at ECKO at Alberta Beach? I find it hard to believe they sold 300+ sleds.

Just got the call from my dealer. Parts are ordered and should be in at the end of the week for the safety update to my sled. Just need to book it in.

Don't get your hopes up quite yet. Some dealers are saying the parts are back ordered and won't be available for "who knows when" (fresh of the DooTalk press)……and I have 2 2013's that are supposed to be parked and not ridden. I will follow the words of wisdom in the letter.

I don't understand what you are complaining about. They'll fix your sled. It seems the problem is that you want yours done before everyone else because you are entitled? Get in line like everyone else.

I just got a VM never actually talked to them although they did say they wanted me to call back to confirm I got the message.
He said he expected parts there by the end of the week so I guess we will see.
I will call them back tomorrow and see if they will tell me what all they are replacing too-I'm curious as to what their fix is. Hopefully it's not just a clamp.......

I respectfully contacted my dealer. My 2 2013 XMs are booked in on February 4th, as per my schedule. And hey, fresh chaincase oil while I'm there!

Excuse me? I actually tried getting in line and was told to go to the back before the line even started, that's what I'm complaining about bud. Maybe think before you talk.

And never once did I say put me before anyone. I simply wanted to be put on whatever list they have at the time I contacted them. Seems fair to me so with all due respect don't twist my words into something selfish and conceded like that again.

Hey Mother Trucker, some of us are picking up what your laying down. No worries brother. What ever happened with the guys at ECKO, they get you fixed up with an appointment? It is only a 30 minute job from what I have been told so at the end of the is it realistic to think every sled bought at a dealer is going to show the same day....not freaking likely. I just hope the comments about back ordered parts isn't entirely true as our sleds are already enroute and pretty much front of the line waiting for said parts to show up. I can't imagine what the secure compound is going to look like if parts don't show up.

Ya no kidding. That's where mines booked in now. I was trying to get it in at Martin because I always shop there but I also hit up echo lots so I went there and they said no problem. I just don't like ppl saying I'm "entitled" to be ahead of anyone like the guy that posted earlier. I would never even come close to thinking or saying that. Just want to get in line without being told well your first in line but we have to wait to see who else shows up and handle theirs first. But all is settled no and sled will be fixed

Talked to Wetaskiwin Motorsports this morn and they told me they had the parts ordered (for about 50 of their customers) before they went on backorder and they expected them to start arriving today and have all of the parts by the end of the week.
It sounds like it's basically the same idea as the foam hockey puck others have already installed. It's a couple brackets and some shims for both tanks. I'm glad BRP was quick on addressing this with what hopes to be a permanent fix.

Fernie snow. i do not know where you get your info but all parts are available with 3-5 day receiving to the dealer....
There is one part that was not available and is now been found. This part will be sent with all kits.....
You must book in and then the dealer can order the warranty parts.....
Dealears cannot just order 300 recall parts in case a person walks in........you must call, book in and then they order.....they require a serial number to access the warehoouse and warranty recall purchase order....
If you want to see how this works I will freely give you the information sheet...

I forget ,,,,, your dealearship number is what???????
Which dealears gave you this bogus infooooo!!!!

PM me I am interested.
