xm engine miss

had the xm out today and it has developed a engine miss started right at the beginning of the day
engine runs good up to 7000 rpm but when you go wide open the engine has a miss in it like the engine cuts right out and back on.
sled will not rev above 7200 tried adjusting the clickers on the primary but no differnce
350 klm on the sled
new fuel this am
no engine lights
no codes
ran all day great up the 7000 rpm but wide open not so good
has no top end zip
anybody had a similar problem

Had the same problem . took primary apart had 600 miles on it and 1 of the lever's was gumbed up and not moving freely. Clean all 3 of them and good after that.

yes has only one ride on it since i had it apart and cleaned it
reached in and all three arms swing free
engine acts like it is cutting right out and then back on
it is at the dealer today so will see what they figure out
it pulled 8000 last monday no problems no missing

Does it fall on its face at all like its dropping a cylinder. My 13 had an injector fail on the mechanical side not electric and it had no codes come up. Eventually it would barely pull its own weight. Also I have been hearing issues about the stators failing.

My money is on a Exhaust Valve issue.

the boys figured it out and you are in the right area Winter Brew
rave solenoid failed just a little surprised no codes or engine light on
even when they put it on the computer showed no faults
they did all the updates at the same time so all is good
