Could be the tps as well. Mine does it all the time when snow is in the throttle. Just bogs out as a safety feature

actually come to think of it... thats probably what it was where i was at the time snow in the throttle is a very viable option haha :D

Ya and usually as soon a you chop it it kicks out and good To go. I almost towed a sled off the hill when he Etec first came out because of that lol

hahah so did we..... just a bit of ice inbetween flipper and cable.... I think after smashing the kill switch a few times we figured it out lol you could see a 2mm gap and we all clued in

Had a customer chopper his out because he wasn't aware of this. Another guy noticed this before the chopper showed up, cleaned the throttle and drove it around as the chopper showed up. The owner had already left doubling out so paid when he didn't need to.

I'm pretty sure the burps and farts are related to elevation .. I unloaded at 2500' the other day and they were a lot more pronounced (the burps coming from the sled anyway .. my own seem to be consistent)

as soon as I hit 4000' she was smooth as a raped ape on steroids !

I talked to my dealer, and he said all etecs do that to an extent, cans just make them a little bit more exaggerated.

2 possible fixes: add weight to the clutch
or, take er easy in low elevation

I choose option 2

Do all the MBRP cans have a 4 - 5" pipe welded off of them for the sensor? I kinda thought this looked strange considering the sensor is only an inch or so long.

Not too many perople on here are talking about Neils (or NPP) cans on their sleds.... What about Specialty Performance???
I know for sure that most cans sold at Riverside come from neil, but the talk is pretty quiet on his stuff..... Anyone got or use Neils can??

Ya they do. Could be why it makes the sled run like crap

Kinda what I was thinking-too far away from the exhaust flow.
Do other can's have this dong hanging off the side of them too? The stock suitcase has it right in it but I have never seen the inside of one to see how the exhaust flows through it.

Just bought the last HPS etec can from Parkland. Holz does not have any and are currently on backorder. Looking forward to trying the can on my sled.
