And here I am packing a chainsaw to the lake to get a fire going, thats an added 25-30lbs.... should have grabbed an e-tec, could have the fire going before i even get to my fishin hole!!! lol.... kidding.... But honestly I should get on designing fire retardant Snowmobile gear.. million dollar idea..

Only problem with the Etec fire starter is you have to plow into something.....could get hurt LOL

Quick drive belts are a HUGE problem I don't know why you would say otherwise some guys are on there 3+ belt
For Skidoo's sake I hope that they really make clear that the amassadors of their brand are people like Dave and Stephy. If someone were to confuse you as some sort
of Doo spokes person I'd say it would do more harm to their brand than not. Stephy and Dave obviously love their Ski Doos along with Stephy's father. They are proud, but never arrogant.
They attract people and positive PR to the brand because of this. The whole superiority thing is getting old.
out of 68 sleds one Belt was blown on ours still to this date, and the customer openly admitted that he was laying the hammer down. lol
Doo's are good sleds, and I love my Pro, I happen to enjoy the 2013 cat wayyyy more than the 2012 Chassis. There is something good in everything.
No doubt Doo will get this worked out and everyone will be up braaapin in no time. It's a good company. like I said before, Chit happens with all the brands.

A real DRY tree. Then it will get real warm...

HV, just remember that there are many others that don't waste their time posting on forums like us. Probably 10 times the peeps. I am sure there are 30 on this forum also that had failures.. Guess we will never know.

Uh, ya, that. Lol !! I don't hide issues I've had. I simply questioned the #'s suggested by saying "several" and "HUNDREDS".

Sent from my iPhone when I should be sledding.

As of the end of November, Polaris had 70 confirmed failures.
Post 38 https://www.snowandmud.com/polaris-pro-ride-450/driveshaft-bulletin-72617-4.html
Read on, the number goes up. And this is of reported #'s 2 months ago. I know that number is higher as not everyone reported their failures, some fixed themselves with '12 shafts before Poo quit selling driveshafts. Not to mention those that did the drill and rivet trick that Poo didn't warranty.
So even if it isn't hundreds, it's definetly more than a few.
As far as engines, I know of 8. That's several in my book.
