My wife's been complaining about her sled having to rev to about 4k rpm's to get her sled moving, it has a 160/260 (violet/green) spring in the primary, would changing to a 130/260 (blue/green) drop it without affecting the backend much, or would going to a 130/230 (blue/yellow) spring be a better choice? She's not into big climbs or jumps, she prefers playing in the deep stuff and some small hills.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Go to a lower first number, as low as possible. I like around 100 if I can but in between 100-130 will work. Keep same last number or it will affect your rpms on top.
Order a tra belt clearance kit($20)from Thunder products and follow the instructions. Adjust to 15 thou belt to sheave clearance on a new, never used belt. The tighter clearance will prevent the clutch sheaves from slamming closed on the belt and causing the famous doo "sudden lurch" forward. The engagement may be around 3500 and it will be so soft and smooth she will love you forever. This is way cheaper than jewelry and she will think of and love you everytime she squeezes her throttle from a stop.

I had one of Joeys kits on my Rev Summit and it was a nice setup but she doesn't ride hard enough to justify spending the coin, she'd rather have a pair of diamond earrings or a new puppy. lol
