i hope your joking, cause that's close to the dumbest thing i've ever read on here......chit happens?? we rebuild fast??? half of New Orleans is still a disaster zone, they are still cleaning up from the hurricanes of this season, and some from last season, and neither of those were close to what has happened in japan.

no where that benefits from alberta oil has ever suffered "devastation" that's a big word, with a bigger meaning, right now an entire country (and might i add one of the most technologically advanced and prosperous countries in the world) is in chaos and there is not enough money in the world to "rebuild fast" you think if it happened here we could cope and rebuild fast?

i'm not trying to be an a-hole but in honesty comments like that make us a culture look very ignorant, just feel proud and lucky to have the life you do and live where you live, becasue hundreds of thousands of people in one country just lost everything, including family and loved ones.....nothing to joke about

Yeah.. Your right. That joke was a little un-called for. And I know what it's like to loose close family. I lost my dad when I was 15.

Do any of u ppls believe in the 2012 doomsday prediction's made by the ancient Myan's, Nostradamus, and First Nation cheifs?

Do u think its all sum fuzz like the Year 2000 screwups predictions? Or does it really make u think "is this the end?" or "WTF is with the world"

Just think of all the stuff thats happened not too long ago, and the stuff thats happening now.

What is the First Nation Chiefs predictions? Not familiar with them.

As a dad, I make every effort to deter any doom and gloom, end of the world type thinking in my kids. It only serves to de-motivate people with the ole' "what’s the use" attitude. Mass media pounds this chit at us all the time. Bunch a fawking tards that have stayed in university for 12 years cause they couldn’t find a job are the so called experts, and they are the ones telling me what’s happening. Take your thesis that cost your poor working fool father all that tuition money and shove it right where the sun don't shine.

I'm going to believe that that the earth is going to continue to do laps around the sun, and that mankind will continue to advance, and endure,,,,

great comment and I agree! I purposely did not show my wife and 3 daughters this interview for that same reason. I dont want to be naive or anything and I am well aware of what is going on out there. However, under this circumstance even if this guy is right what can we do about it? This is mother nature and we as humans are hopeless at winning this battle if she decides to shake the ground beneath us. Just live for today and enjoy yourself. On a bright side I had my palms read for a joke years ago and apparently I am here for a long time....hope in good health :d

Sorry I thought this thread contained the interview "could this guy be right" where he predicts this month west coast could see a major earthquake. Either way, my reply is still the same.

Well said Koby. I agree 100%. Just in case some folks don't know. Nostradamus quatrains have only been 10% correct AND he has made predictions that go beyond the year 3000 AD. Also the Mayans have been interviewed about this so called end of times theory and THEY don't believe the end is going to happen on Dec. 21, 2012.

As far as all those predictions...The earth, solar system and the whole universe doesn't care about our timetables and small lives. The planets been destroying itself and rebuilding itself over and over for a very very long time. There are far more people living on every part of the land mass, and some very sketchy parts, so more loss of life. Just use the knowledge gained so far and make decisions based on fact and reasoning. For example, Don't live near Yellowstone(super volcano), get away from the coast, thats long overdue too. We get people building houses on the edge of the river valley and in the flood plains and guess what??...they fall into the river eventually and the plains flood . You are actually living in one of the most interesting times in human existence, but not the earths. There has been, at last count at least 5 total extinctions on this planet. The info is at your fingertips. I'm sure that the end of the second millennium just seemed a good clean cutoff place to stop their calendar. PS: Don't move to New Zealand...Lol :beer::beer:

The Bible does not chronical said "extinctions".....

talking snakes, immaculate conception, a boat big enough for 2 of every species on earth, giants, parting seas etc..... BUT NO EXTINCTION....

Just sayin....
