I am looking to buy a sled deck that I can fab into a snowbike hauler. Of course cheaper the better. Prefer aluminum over steel.

Does not need ramp (I have already fabbed one. Ok if decking needs to be placed - that is ok. Would be doing that anyway.

Of course no need for expandable sides. Length does not matter. Going to be cutting it to fit inside of a short box pickup bed.

A good chance for someone to get rid of an old deck they are not using anymore.

Please keep us posted on this project with pics!

Good idea! The thought is to make a deck that just goes over the wheel wells in the box, and will stick out over the tailgate. That will be easier for hauling up 3 bikes. I want to also to put 3 sets of chocks on it. Should be about 2 feet lower than a deck - with room to side the ramps underneath, and carry a tow rope too. :)

This is how I fabbed the ramp. An old beaver-tail type would be perfect, as I want the section extending over the tailgate to be ramped as well......

A friend and I were talking about modding a truck box roll out to haul 2 bikes. roll it in behind the tail gate when stowed, drop the gate and roll it out for hauling. Same sort of ramp should work. A 3rd bike spot might be handy though...
