Why couldn't this happen next year. Then I could get 2017.

Wish I could find my pictures .... I had a dent (no penetration) the size of a dime, on my rear passenger door on my Jeep. My wife jack-knifed our small trailer and dented the door. I drove it for another 1200kms while deciding if I even wanted to proceed with the claim, when I woke up one morning to a letter from Alberta Transportation stating that my insurance company had reported my vehicle as "non-road worthy" and it now had a salvage title and I could no longer drive it!!!!! WTF!

I fought with them for months....

Good luck sir. lol

Luckily I walked away with only a cut on hand, from trying to get out of truck. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443463688.123728.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443463701.689731.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443463710.840917.jpg

You'd be surprised. All depends on year, mileage, etc. I did $23K damage to my truck with 1500km on it. Owned it less than a month. Got er all fixed up by my buddy at the body shop, and haven't had an issue for 4 1/2 years and 75,000km.
It is crazy what they will rebuild these days.

My issue with a 23k claim on a 60k truck is resale.

My concern too. Truck sat on side for 4 hrs (what sensor and **** got oil soaked). Truck has 52k on it and worried about possible complications ( seeing as warranty is 60k I think). I really don't want back, so prob trade it and loose my shirt on it.

Can we hear the story please?

Was on way home from hunting. Turned around bend and 3 deer standing there. Tried to slow down, but shot into ditch (4-5" of loose gravel, seems county blew its budget on one road). Went up a embankment and flopped it over.

The worst part of them fixing it is the car fax. Dealers will pull it and see a 24k repair done. If they take it on trade they will beat you bad on the deal
