Yeah, but for the same amount of driving time I can climb a hill in the west. Haha.

Like going west have not ridden in sk since around 2008. But last year my buddies pulled old junkers out of the bush and have been going on rally's with vintage sleds. I picked up a evinrude for this season. Don't need much snow for this old rig.

I took the sled to southern Ontario over Christmas-and the riding was good there. I did a bit of riding near the Battlefords just before New Years, but it is not good now.

Yep this winter is shaping up to be my worst ever. I don't think there was a single winter I didn't take out the sled for local riding but this is looking like it might be my first.

Not sure if it's just my time in life or coincidence but with the way the past few winters have been it's been harder and harder to find people to ride with. Over the past 3 seasons I've had 7 riding buddies pull out due to not wanting to have money tied up in rarely used winter toys, injuries, or just not wanting to have to take a week to haul everything to go riding. This year has been the worst. Snow is trailerable distance but the people who are left always seem to have something going on.

Just me or has the poor snow years taken a toll in general?

I've been going west with the same group for the past 6 years or so...so really haven't noticed anything different on my end. On another note...Nothing better then a fresh snowfall to brighten everything up, even got to do my driveway today. May have to take the sled for a rip to the ice hut instead of the truck.

I would say it snowed 2" around Saskatoon overnight. Naturally the forecast is for it, and more, to melt by Tuesday.

I officially declare Winter 2017 the worst one ever for snowmobiling. I got 0 days of SK riding this winter. Thankfully I got 16 days of mountain riding in.

Crap, cat is out of the bag there... will have to use it to erase this mistake from ever happening.
