Worst hotel room ever?

At the Donnelly, AB corner, I think they actually called it frog corner if I remember correctly, there were a few atco trailers beside the truck stop. A co-worker booked a room it was nasty, I took one look at the shower and decided to give it a miss. I remember it clearly because I stayed there the night the US shock and awe campaign started in Iraq and I watched coverage on a snowy 14" b&w tv. Needless to say, next night I was off to Peace River to look for a room.

Everything on that corner has since been bull-dozed.

never stayed there but always wondered who would stay at an atco trailer camp/motel set up on the highway at bezanson. never seen vehicles parked there. where do these shitty ideas come from.

both of the motels in coronation are at the top of my list

the hamburg hilton way out in chinchaga isnt the greatest place as its kind of dated, but food there was the best ever in a camp... been a few years since i was out there

stayed in a ramada where they activated the wrong key card for me... opened some guys room... he was in there hahaha. thats why i always lock the chain or the bolt

There's a newish hotel in Edson did this to me. It's on the west end of town bye the petro Canada bulk station. It was brand new at the time. I arrived late after work and they gave me a room key and said it was good to go. So I went to the room opened the door and thought to my self dam they must of left the tv on. Walked into the room only to find and man and woman sleeping in the bed! I snuck out without waking them up. And got myself a new room. Lol

I stayed in the Atco shacks at Marianna Lake one time...one time...there were more mosquitoes in the room than outside...shared bathroom, decided to go back out to my truck and sleep across the seats.
Another time we were staying in the log shacks across from the Radium hot springs ( we were playing in a hockey tournament in Invermere) well, you could see daylight through the walls and there was a solid 3/4" gap in the door jam. No heat to speak of, and the shower, I think if somebody threw a glass of water at you , you would get more water than this shower put out. Stand up tin shower, that was rusted out..
Man I've picked some doozies over the years
