Work Party Boulder Sept. 28

[Powder Puff]

Meet at Boulder lot at 8:30 Sun. Oct. 28.
We need to clean up the basement before the wood for the winter is brought in. There was 3 ft. of water in the basement this spring and it made a real mess. We will also be doing a general clean up around the cabin.
Please note we only have access with quads to the alpine with special permission to work on the cabin.
Please attend we need some help on this one. If you don`t have a quad other members will shuttle you up.

Went good and we got the job done, a big thanks to everyone who showed up.
We were done by noon, Herby cooked us all lunch and we were out of there and gone for a ride by 1.

Those are really good pics ,,i allways wanted to ride up there in the summer to see what it looks like ..That is just awesome..It is on 12 foot stilts isn't it??? Crazy what 15 feet of snow will do to a picture

We really appreciated the cabin when we were up at boulder. A good place to warm up, dry off, meet people, and check out everyones sled. thanks for the hard work guys!

Looks great up there in summer. Why the restriction for quads? There are lots of alpine areas open (though out BC) where there is a trail access, I'm guessing similar for the cabin area?

Elevation closures on Boulder and Frisby to wheeled vehicles. There are closure signs on the trails.
There are a lot of areas that are open to quading in this area also. If your interested you could contact Ron laroy@telus.net for more info.
When we do go up to work on the cabins the club needs special permisssion from MoE and permits to have a fire.
