work in Whitehorse

Just got a call from dispatch today there sending me to whitehorse for work on the takhini sub. Anyone on here live there, i want to know what they have for grocery stores and restaurants

Whitehorse has everything you need. Takhini subdivision isn't too far from the city

I live in the Territory. Has a Superstore, Extra Foods, and maybe one other grocery store. Don't expect down south/Alberta quality though. Restaurants are the usual BP, Earls, and fast food take your pic. Have fun! Takhini is only 15 mins out of downtown.

Edit, so now I am going up to fort nelson instead. its a better shift 14/7 and i get LOA.

Now I need to look for a place to stay when im up there...any ideas?

I guess thats why they offer the attractive 14-7 then eh, I can tell its going to be fun trying to find a place to stay already.

Maybe I'll just sleep in my truck haha
