This thread is out of season. Put on your summer tires boys.Do you carry any weight in the box? Haven't seen anyone point this out. I carry 20 sand bags in my 3500.

Typically one or two sleds on the deck and fuel or I’m hauling a skid steer. The truck otherwise sits.Do you carry any weight in the box? Haven't seen anyone point this out. I carry 20 sand bags in my 3500
Duratracs are an all terrain, all-weather tire… not an all season or a winter tire. They’re snowflake/mountain designated, but they’ll never be as good as a true winter tire, or ice tire. They are noisy, no question about it.
Already on and been on all winter... duratracs for the win lolThis thread is out of season. Put on your summer tires boys.

bc road maintenance are like sasquatch you hear a lot about them but you never see themNot sure if it’s even relevant as it seems like a Nokian VS duratrac conference but I ran studded Arctic Claws this winter and was pleasantly surprised how good they were. This winter was the worst conditions I have travelled on back and forth from RD to revy in over 20 years. Not sure what was going on with bc hiway maintenance but it was like they were on strike all winter.
Anywho, studded Arctic claws seemed to work decent.
They remind me of a Toyo A/T 2I run 4 or 5 or more, different sets of tires on my truck in any given year, so I can experience the tire I sell to customers. Lately I have stayed with a Ridgetrack at all weather tire. It performed well this passed winter
I found this also. Which prompted me to want to run a Winter specific tire for next year. Had to many close calls for me not to spend the extra cash for some traction. Not sure if it’s even relevant as it seems like a Nokian VS duratrac conference but I ran studded Arctic Claws this winter and was pleasantly surprised how good they were. I picked up an extra set of rims off of kijij for $500 some guy took off his Lariat for aftermarket rims. So will put my winter rubber on those spare rims and switch out fall/spring. Cheapest way I can come up with doing it.It would be great if we all could run the very best tire for every season with no consideration of price. Unfortunately this is the real world.
I bought a truck a few years ago with Arctic Claws on it, going into winter I figured might as well run them, they did well, I had no complaints. Not sure if it’s even relevant as it seems like a Nokian VS duratrac conference but I ran studded Arctic Claws this winter and was pleasantly surprised how good they were. stock is a big thing this year, buy early.I'm in the winter tire market for the 03 f250 this fall... going to start making calls today for pricing and stock...
I just bought studded Hak's for my dually, I wanted to beat the rush.
245/75-17 this time, the stock size. The last ones were 265/70-17 and I had chunks of ice get stuck between the duals a couple of times. Hopefully that won't happen with the narrower tire.how wide did you go 235 or 265?
Call our buddie RDRV. He usually gets some great pricing. Also has a stud installer. Actually get BF to call him. They do a bit of business together.I'm in the winter tire market for the 03 f250 this fall... going to start making calls today for pricing and stock...
