Seems odd Banner can’t tell me when to expect my Expert. Is this then new normal?
Late or not, there must be a production schedule out there somewhere?
There are delivery schedules for the dealers on BossWeb. Take them for what they are but there is a tool there for the dealer.’

I know of a turbo 165 that a guy backed out of cause it won’t be delivered till Feb.

Anything is possible now, It weird not seeing lots of yellow crates in the compound like in the past.
The last day of production at the factory for sleds is Jan 17/22. Hopefully they will have trucks ready to move and get guys their sleds in less than a week from that time.

From Turple Bros "Here is what we heard yesterday from our BRP Rep. There have been some major delays in production of the sleds due to components they need not showing up and the lack of man power in the factory. A couple days ago about 7 of about 50 sleds that we were supposed to see in Nov. got a possible shipping week of Dec. 20. This means we probably won't see any new sleds until the New Year sometime." for what its worth.

For every sled someone does not take there are 20 plus guys on a list wanting it, the issues of computer chips has not even hit the high point yet, those who think its gonna get better soon are out to lunch.

Hey Dave, maybe you can clear something up for the S&Mers who didn't receive their sleds. Why is it that some dealers got almost all of the snow-checks ordered and some dealers didn't get even 10% of what they ordered? I'm guessing I am not the only one that is wondering about pushing the Snow check to next year? who/what should a guy be looking for as far as dealers go?

Yup. Walk away from your snow check and the dealer will just sell it to the next guy. Most likely at a higher profit margin.
Can’t win for losing.

His reply should be interesting. Probably like a typical salesman. Blah blah blah. I was the second order from turple bros. Ordered mine 15 minutes after they opened the day of snow checking…….that should hold somewhat of value.

That’s the truth. The important thing is it’s not the dealers fault. Completely out of their hands

Sadly no matter how early you snow checked it comes down to how they were shipped to the dealer. Now if some guy that checked after you that got his and it’s the same model then I’d be having a talk with them that’s for sure

I don't really want to walk away from it, but i need to buy sonething to ride for Dec/Jan. then selling a used sled in Jan/Feb is always tough as well. It's a real S&^t storm.

I panic bought a 2020 alpha last week. If my boost comes early I sell it. If not I ride it.

Ya but in times of so many shortages maybe this snow check should have been different…..maybe a half load to red deer, half load to Cochrane. As you stated earlier Ken bow ridge had there’s beginning of November. My sales guy told me quote “there’s a lot of shady ch!t that goes on to why dealers get there’s first”. And it looks to be true.

What worries me about walking away is, what's to say next year will not be the same or worse.

I panic bought a 2020 expert today. My sled had been at dealer since early October. But no eta on gauges. And when they do show, there’s nothing saying mine will fill first. I also could have it by the weekend. Bad time to be a doo dealer.
