Looking back at my childhood spent in the back country of the Kananaskis I can't believe I'm still here!

I came across a cougar in a tree once while I was hiking. after I saw her, I tip toed out of there backwards. I didn't want to turn my back on her as I know how fast this species can become agitated and aggressive. I've never been so nervous in my life. I feel like I barely escaped with my life.

Great article.

A few years ago hunting by Robb a Bobcat followed me for most of the day staying 40 to 50 yards behind in the tree's. It never got any closer than that but I was always checking.

That fawn picture is cool....

Aww, it's just a kitten. Just wait a few years when them claws and teeth reach full maturity!
